About Dr. Kaminester

I am board-certified in both General Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and I specialize in psychotherapy with children and teenagers, for which I have undergone advanced training. I am honored to have graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Chicago with a B.A. in Psychology (1995), followed by medical training at the McGill University Faculty of Medicine, from which I received my M.D. (1999). Following completion of a 5-year combined residency training program in General Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at University of Massachusetts Memorial Health Care in 2004, I have been in practice in Massachusetts.

During my time in practice, I have had the opportunity to work with children and adolescents and their families in both the public and private sectors. I initially opened my private practice in 2004 In West Boylston, MA and, in June 2006, I relocated my practice to Concord, MA.

Outside of my work as a psychiatrist and psychotherapist, I am an active guitarist, singer/songwriter, and writer of prose, and am currently working on a rock musical for children.
